Historic Mount Oread Friends is pleased to invite members of the Lawrence Preservation Alliance to join us on Saturday, March 7, for a tour of KU's Stauffer-Flint Hall, home of the School of Journalism. The Hall recently benefited from a $5 million renovation, which changed the facade of the 120-year-old structure and brought the building’s main floor into the 21st century, as stated by Ann Brill, dean of the KU School of Journalism. The tour will focus on the recent renovation but also include the history of the building. Meet in the lobby of the building at 10 am Saturday for the tour.

Parking:  Most surface lots on campus are open for free parking on Saturdays. Please check all signage to ensure parking is not restricted. The lot behind Blake Hall may be the closest option for parking. Note that the Mississippi Street Garage requires prepayment at all times. Follow the instructions posted to pay within 15 minutes of parking.
