Douglas County Heritage Conservation Council to host information gathering session for Rural Preservation Plan

The Douglas County Heritage Conservation Council has obtained funding to prepare a Rural Preservation Plan for Douglas County. Hernly Associates has been hired as the consultant for the project. They have been collecting data using an on-line survey, and will be conducting a public information gathering session on Saturday, October 15th , from 10:00AM until Noon at the Vinland Fairgrounds, 1736 North 700 Road in Vinland. This preservation plan will become an important component of the County's Open Space Plan, also currently under development.
